Thank you for choosing WriEdi for your manuscript writing, advanced editing, publication support, data analysis, thesis and dissertation writing, pre-submission peer review, and related academic services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.
Terms & Conditions
The agreement between you and WriEdi when you use any of our services.
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the WriEdi website and all services offered through it.
They form a binding agreement between you (the "Client") and WriEdi (the "Company", "we", "us"). If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services. Your use of any WriEdi service constitutes acceptance of the terms set out below.
1. Service Overview
What WriEdi provides.
WriEdi provides professional academic services including, but not limited to, manuscript writing for journals, advanced editing, publication support, data analysis, thesis and dissertation writing, grant writing, plagiarism detection and remediation, and pre-submission peer review, as described on our website.
All services are provided as academic assistance and guidance intended to support and strengthen the Client's own research and writing. They are subject to the terms and conditions outlined herein and to any project-specific scope agreed in writing.
2. Registration & Account Security
Your responsibilities for your account.
To access certain features, you may be required to register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach of your account. WriEdi is not liable for any loss arising from your failure to safeguard your account information.
3. Payment & Fees
Pricing, invoicing, and charges.
Payment for our services is based on the pricing and payment terms specified on our website or as agreed in writing before work begins. Depending on the service, full payment or an agreed deposit may be required before a project commences.
Any additional fees or charges — for example, for scope changes, expedited delivery, or work beyond the agreed word count — will be clearly communicated and agreed with you before that additional work begins. Except as set out in our Refund Policy below, payments are non-refundable.
4. Refund Policy
When refunds do and do not apply.
All payments are non-refundable once work has commenced, as our Ph.D. and M.D. specialists immediately dedicate their time, expertise, and resources to your project.
A full refund will be issued only if we fail to deliver your draft within the agreed timeframe due to reasons on our end.
To make our policy clear, the following applies:
- We fail to deliver the agreed draft within the agreed timeframe for reasons attributable solely to WriEdi.
- Payment was made but work had not yet commenced and you cancel before we begin.
- Work has already commenced on your project.
- Delays or issues caused by incomplete instructions, late responses, or missing materials from the Client.
- Dissatisfaction with outcomes outside our control, such as a journal's editorial or peer-review decision.
- Change of mind after delivery of the agreed work.
5. Confidentiality
How we protect your work.
We respect the confidentiality of your work and any information you share with us. Our specialists and reviewers operate under strict confidentiality, and a non-disclosure agreement is available on request. Your unpublished research is never shared, referenced, or published by us.
While we take confidentiality seriously, you should exercise reasonable caution when sharing highly sensitive or personally identifiable information, and share only what is necessary for us to deliver your project.
6. Intellectual Property
Who owns the work.
Upon full payment, the final deliverables we produce for your project are yours to use for your intended academic or research purpose. The underlying research, data, and ideas you provide remain your intellectual property at all times.
Content on the WriEdi website — including text, graphics, logos, and layout — remains the property of WriEdi and may not be reproduced without permission.
7. Client Responsibilities & Academic Integrity
Using our services ethically.
You agree to provide accurate materials and clear instructions, and to respond promptly to reasonable requests so we can deliver your project on time. You are responsible for the accuracy and legitimacy of the research and data you submit to us.
Our services are provided as guidance, editing, and support to strengthen your own work and must be used in accordance with the academic integrity policies of your institution, publisher, or funder, and in line with COPE guidelines. You are responsible for ensuring your use of our deliverables complies with those policies.
8. Limitation of Liability
The limits of our responsibility.
To the extent permitted by law, WriEdi shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses — resulting from the use of, or inability to use, our services.
We do not guarantee acceptance, publication, funding, grades, or any specific outcome, as such decisions rest solely with the relevant journal, funder, or institution. Our total liability for any claim relating to a project shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that project.
9. Termination
Suspending or ending access.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to a violation of these Terms & Conditions or any request that conflicts with academic integrity or applicable law.
10. Changes to These Terms
Updates and revisions.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting on our website. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
